Why this Hike
This short hike close to the border in the Far West of South Australia is a fantastic walk for beginner hikers looking for coastal views. With a great expansive lookout that shows off the coast and local sand dunes which can be quite beautiful no matter what time of year you are visiting.
Track Notes & Overview
Starting at 10k Peg Rest Area this hike follows a short trail to a lookout in the Merdayerrah Sandpatch. The track which leads to a scenic lookout is about 1.7 Kilometres each way, the track is lightly trafficked and once you reach the lookout you can turn back and return to the Rest Area to finish the hike.
