Why this Hike
This beautiful river walk not far from Bridgetown is a fantastic hike at any time of the year. During winter this 6km walk can offer gushing rivers, misty mornings and lush green surroundings as you follow the river there and back.
Track Notes & Overview
Starting from the Blackwood River Park Carpark, the walk follows the Blackwood River Walk along the river. Shortly after setting off you will cross the river on a small footbridge and then around as the river bends. From here the river flows in straight in an almost north-easterly direction bending slightly before reaching the junction with another track next to Grey Hill Road where you will turn back and return to the carpark you set off from.
