Why this Hike
This hike in located near the Cape Le Grand Park in WA is a hard challenging 3KM climb to the top of the beautiful Frenchman Peak. Standing at over 260 metres tall this climb up Frenchman Peak or as it is locally know, Mandooboornup, is quite the challenge but provides you with grand views over the entire local area which has made it relatively popular among locals and tourists alike.
Track Notes & Overview
Starting from Frenchman Peak Carpark (at the end of Frenchman Peak Road) follow the trail path up to the Peak, avoid moving off this trail as the hill can be extremely steep and unexpected. Once at the peak return back down along the same track to finish the hike and return home.
*Please note that a park entry fee is required to enter and you should avoid this hike in wet and windy weather.
