Why this Hike

Follow this beautiful walking track passing the fields which helped fuel the gold rush. The area is littered with gold mines and is perfect for newer hikers looking for a short day walk.

Track Notes & Overview

Starting south of the car park at Bellbird Grove, Enoggera Reservoir, the Golden Boulder Circuit track is a 1.8 km semi-elevated walking trail offering an educational & fascinating walk which runs in a circuit. Sign posted with facts about the gold rush, you'll see several mineshafts along the way which capture attention as points of interest. Back at the main hub, there is plentiful parking, amenities and shaded picnic areas with electric barbecues.
