Why this Hike
This short day walk in the Grampians National Park offers views of one of Victoria's best waterfalls and parks. This walk takes you to Bluff Lookout which provides for commanding views over both Mackenzie Falls and Mackenzie River. Note that this walk doesn't take you to the base of the falls but rather the lookout from Bluff Lookout.
Track Notes & Overview
Starting from the Mackenzie Falls Carpark, Walk past the toilet blocks near the start of the trail and take a right up the Lookout track. This trail should be well surfaced and once you have walked along it for about a kilometre you should reach the lookout that provides views of the waterfall and river. To complete the hike simply carry on walking the loop before it links back up with part of the track you have previously walked which leads back to the carpark.
