Why this Hike
This hike up the fantastic Mount Larcom is a good challenge for intermediate walkers looking for something adventurous and beautiful. With a hike up the steady climbing track to the summit of the mountain this walk provides with some great views while making a good day out not far from Gladstone.
Track Notes & Overview
Starting at the trailhead at the end of Lynn Road this hike follows the Mount Larcom Walking Trail up a relatively steady incline all the way to the summit of Mount Larcom. At the top spectacular views and a small tower with a solar panel can be found, the trail should remain accessible to relatively experienced bushwalkers all year round and once you are done at the summit you can descend down the same trail you came up along until returning back to the trailhead and finishing the hike.
