Why this Hike
This fantastic beginners day walk rewards with stunning wildlife and a lovely picnic area near the Quarry. Minnows and Tadpoles are plentiful along the walk as you make your way to the Quarry and then return back to the carpark.
Track Notes & Overview
Starting from the carpark at Daisy Hill Road the walk follows the gravel road until you reach the Quarry where you'll find the strightforward path leading up and down some small hills. Monarch butterflies fly alongside you on your journey through the forest where there is much birdlife to hear. When you get to the quarry there is a lovely shaded picnic area including a wooden seat to sit and enjoy the wildlife.
*Note, it is a dog friendly walk.
