Why this Hike
With a tough walk up several hundred metres this hike in Namadgi National Park provides with great views and challenging walking. Following Stockyard Spur Walking Track from the Dam Carpark this hike is easy to access and testing to walk is filled with native wildlife and both European and Aboriginal cultural sites.
Track Notes & Overview
Starting at the Corin Dam Carpark this hike follows the Stockyard Spur Walking Track up a relatively demanding climb to the junction with Mount Franklin Road. At the junction you will turn around and walk back to the carpark where the walk began to complete the hike.
If you would like a harder hike then consider challenging yourself with the Mount Gingera Summit Walk which is an extension of this walk.
*Please note that this walk is extremely challenging and should only be completed by experienced hikers who have prepared before they set off.
