Why this Hike
This walk in Carnarvon National Park takes a short loop around Maranoa River and surrounding areas. The hike just off Carnarvon Park Road is a great day walk located not far from Mount Moffatt and is suitable for beginner hikers.
Track Notes & Overview
Starting from an off shoot of Carnarvon Park Road the trail walks around in a loop in a anticlockwise direction over Maranoa River and around the other side until looping back and crossing the river again. From here the walk returns back to the off shoot and concludes. The walk will pass multiple local landmarks including the Looking Glass, Chimneys and Tombs which make this a great day out, signs direct you to each of these and include distances.
